Sonography Test

Sonography Test

Sonography, also known as ultrasound,  is a medical technique that uses sound waves to create an internal body image. It helps doctors diagnose and monitor various conditions, including issues related to pregnancy, organs, and blood vessels. There is no radiation included in the non-invasive test.

Our Procedure for Sonography Test Will Include:

  • On an examination table, the patient is asked to lie down.
  • The area under examination is covered with a gel. This gel helps the ultrasound device make better contact with the skin and ensures clearer images.
  • The technician or doctor moves a small device called a transducer over the gel-covered skin. This device sends out sound waves and picks up the echoes as they bounce back from inside the body.
  • The echoes are then converted into pictures that are shown on a screen.
  • The procedure usually lasts around 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the area being examined.
  • The images are recorded and interpreted by a doctor, who will explain the results.
